The students of J K Diamonds Institute of Gems & Jewelry recently embarked on an enriching Surat Study Tour, diving deep into the heart of India's diamond industry. Surat, renowned as the diamond capital of the country, offered our students a unique opportunity to witness the intricate world of gems and jewelry firsthand over two action-packed days.

• 26th September 2025, Friday:
  The tour kicked off with a visit to HK Kisna at 10:30 AM. After a warm breakfast, students were guided through the jewelry manufacturing unit, exploring every detail of the creation process. The session featured a comprehensive Q&A with Mr. Rajkumar Purohit, General Manager (HK Kisna) offering students invaluable insights into the operational nuances of a leading jewelry company.
  
  Later in the day, the group visited Jaykar at 3:00 PM, where they learned about the entire diamond workflow; from cutting and planning to polishing, screening, and quality control. Mr. Kavit Parekh, Owner (Jaykar) led the session, providing a deep dive into each stage. The visit concluded with tea, cookies, interactive discussions, and certificate distribution. The evening was spent back at the hotel in a lively group discussion with Mr. Naman Ajmera, our diamonds course faculty & managing director focusing on startups, career challenges, and industry guidance.

• 27th September 2025, Saturday:
  The second day began at HK Hub with a morning prayer, followed by hands-on experiences in diamond cutting and polishing. Students had the privilege to interact with HK’s 3rd-generation leaders; Brijesh, Pintu & Rajesh Dholakia, who shared their journeys and addressed queries. Lunch was served at HK Hub, allowing students to network and discuss learnings.
  
  The final visit was to Lexus Softmac India at 2:00 PM, where Mr. Utpal Mistry, Owner (Lexus Softmac India) presented their advanced techniques in diamond innovation. Students enjoyed a guided tour by Mr. Digvijay Sapkale, witnessing state-of-the-art machines and exquisite fancy diamond collections. Lexus, known for its cutting-edge technology, provided an exceptional learning experience before the students headed back to Mumbai.
  
  This Surat Study Tour was not just a trip; it was a deep dive into the practical world of gems and jewellery, inspiring students to explore new horizons and gain real-world knowledge.
