Apart from the JJS Exhibition, JK Diamonds Institute took students to different factories and markets that could give them interesting insights and inspiration for their future ventures. We visited MJ Gems to witness the mind-blowing gem carvings made by skilled artisans using specific tools. Among the pool of creativity, we also learnt how rough stones are cut and polished to be used in precious jewelry. We also visited the famous Amrapali Factory which is well-known for its jewellery in Bollywood. We got an opportunity to visit a structured and well-organised factory owned by Mr. Sunil Agarwal named Vaibhav Global. The way different teams coordinated at various levels in the organisation was mind blowing. The best part of visiting the factory was witnessing the magic at the Karigars cabin- a small cubicle where extremely talented craftsmen manually create beautiful pieces.
