From Learning to Production
India's jewelry market has two distinct streams. The first is precision: stone settings, ring rails, weight calculations the world of Rhino and MatrixGold. The second is art: temple jewelry, deity pendants, bridal sculpted sets, antique filigree, and the kind of surface richness that has defined Indian jewelry for centuries. Parametric CAD has no answer for the second stream. ZBrush does. ZBrush gives jewelry designers the ability to sculpt freely adding texture, carving surface detail, building organic forms, and creating the kind of work that has to be seen to be believed. And when the sculpt is complete, it connects directly to the parametric workflow: export to MatrixGold or Rhino, add the technical components, and go to 3D printing. The ZBrush Digital Sculpting & Temple Jewelry course at JK Diamonds Institute is the only structured programme in Mumbai that teaches this entire workflow from first sculpt to production-ready file. With mentors who have done it commercially, and a curriculum that covers both the artistic and technical sides of digital sculpting for jewelry.
